Power Factor Controller

Power factor controllers provide effective reactive power compensation, measurement and monitoring of the power grid, which can be applied to the automatic control of low-voltage reactive power compensation systems.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Power factor is an important criterion for the assessment of electricity efficiency. Power factor correction can improve power quality, and its function, control and safety features are highly valued by many users.

KLD-MR series power factor controller calculates the corresponding active and reactive power according to the current and voltage collected in the power distribution system, and ensures that the power factor can be adjusted in a short period of time with a minimum number of switching cycles; the control parameters can be adjusted individually at any time even during the operation.

The power factor controller quickly identifies the system demand for reactive power. If the reactive power demand coefficient exceeds the threshold, the appropriate combination of compensation circuits will be used according to the configuration requirements of the system and the power factor controller. Intelligent power factor controllers are able to monitor the data related to the power of the equipment and distribution system, take protective measures accordingly in the case of abnormal power parameters, and shut down the operation of the equipment or compensation circuits temporarily or permanently as required.

COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION
AND ALARM FUNCTIONS

The power factor controller has built-in over-voltage, under-voltage, THDi, THDu, over-temperature and other protection limits to ensure the safety of operation

When a parameter exceeds the limit, the controller will gradually switch off, and the alarm information can be checked in the "Fault Alarm" interface; the user only needs to check the relevant parameters and adjusts the reasonable limit, and the loop will be put into operation after the power parameters of distribution system return to normal.

REALIZE THE FUNCTION OF
MULTI-LOOP EXPANSION

32-channel expansion module can help customers to increase the number of circuits in multi-loop scenarios.

When there are a large number of loops in the compensation controller, it can be matched with MR(T) 32-channel controller expansion module to expand the control terminals of the controller through communication.
